Events are officially back (at least until the next Covid variant)! Oregon Leaf hosted the very well attended Leaf Bowl last weekend, and if the lengthy line at the door was any indication, the entire Oregon cannabis industry made it out.
It was great to see so many people enjoying themselves. The event did something I'd never seen before, with alcohol being sold inside, and smoking and dabbing allowed outside, and 'never the twain shall meet.' Perhaps this is a new model for cannabis events moving forward, though I expect this is a loophole that the OLCC will look at closing in the near future.
Also, there was a velociraptor walking around the event, which is definitely not something you see at every weed event (unless it's being hosted at Jurassic Park).
Overall, I think the event was a huge success, and it was exciting to be there. Let's hope this is just the first of many such events in 2022.
If you are hosting an upcoming cannabis event, and you'd like professional photography or video, please get in touch. The Hood Collective exclusively works in the cannabis industry, and we'd love to be a part of your gathering to ensure it's properly marketed and documented.
